Exumpay is a white label payments platform that helps clients manage their payment business through a single, unified gateway. The platform covers everything from routing and risk checks to settlements and reconciliation, giving our customers clear visibility into their performance and finances.

Your Mission

This Sales Development Representative role is for someone who enjoys outbound sales in fintech: focused targeting, short human messages, and real conversations with founders, PSPs and other qualified businesses. Most of your activity will be on LinkedIn and around industry events, turning attention into qualified meetings and closed deals.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain clean target lists of ideal merchants, partners and fintechs in our core verticals and regions.
  • Run personalized LinkedIn outreach (connection notes, InMails, voice notes, short sequences) that sound human, not scripted.
  • Work the "event loop": pre-event research and outreach, on-site conversations, and structured post-event follow-ups.
  • Qualify interest using clear criteria and book online and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain CRM up to date with contacts, activities, notes and next steps.
  • Test new angles and hooks, share what works, and help turn winning approaches into repeatable plays.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in an SDR/BDR, sales support, customer success, or similar commercial role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+), with the ability to write natural outbound messages and handle basic objections.
  • Comfortable working with CRMs (e.g. Pipedrive, HubSpot or Salesforce), LinkedIn, and prospecting tools; you keep records organized and up to date.
  • Ability to research accounts and people, spot likely buyers, and tailor your outreach based on their context and role.
  • Data-aware mindset: you track your own activity and conversion metrics, and use them to improve your approach over time.
  • Curious, coachable, and resilient: you seek feedback, iterate on messaging, and stay consistent through rejections.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with payment gateways, PSPs, or other payment products.
  • Additional languages beyond English.
